On September 11th 2008 the UK Community of Interbeing completed on the purchase of 4 New Barn Cottages which forms part of the New Barn Field Centre at Bradford Peverell, Nr Dorchester, Dorset.
New Barn Cottage
This is an important step and it has already been quite a journey for our national community to reach this stage. We can now start to enjoy the cottage and develop it as a resource for mindfulness practice.
Already we have plans to hold the forthcoming UK Dharma Training Programme at New Barn Field Centre, and also to use it as the venue for the next Community of Interbeing AGM to celebrate this step, and we are hoping to invite monastic teachers from Plum Village to use the cottage as a base during the Easter period next year. The cottage will also be offered to local sanghas throughout the UK to use for small retreats.
